Donation Drive for those affected by Hurricane Helene in Western NC
NC Friends and Family, we understand your desire to help Western NC as they struggle to regain their lives after Hurricane Helene.
Pepper Moon Catering, Revolution Mill, Southern C’s Farm – will be accepting donations for western NC.
Based upon our direct work with churches in the Vilas, West Jefferson and Burnsville areas, needs have shifted. For this load, we are requesting the following items:
1) Coats for children and adults. (No clothes! We are looking for coats and outerwear for cold weather.)
2) Blankets, Comforters (clean and secured in trash bags or with tape)
3) Sleeping bags for children and adults
4) Chainsaw blade sharpeners (can be found for roughly $15 at Home Depot-like stores/Amazon)
5) Two cycle oil
6) Propane (both camping and grill-size)
7) Protein drinks (premade or powder)
The week of October 14, for your convenience, you may drop items in one of three locations:
1) Summerfield: Southern C’s Farm, 117 Southern C’s Trail, go right and to the circle, drop in Lodge carport.
Drop off times: Tuesday 9am – 12pm, Wed 4pm – 7pm, Thursday 9am-12pm
2) North Greensboro: Revolution Mill, Revolution Mill Drive, at the 1250 / 1175 or Millhouse locations,
Drop off times: Monday – Friday, 8am – 7pm.
3) Piedmont Parkway Area/High Point: Pepper Moon Catering, 1068 Boulder Road.
Drop off times: Monday – Thursday, 7am to 6pm.
